What is Meditation?

At any time where a person’s mind is either totally quiet or completely focused (without thought outside of one particular chosen stream), meditation is being practised. This state can be achieved in a wide variety of ways and through a diverse range of meditation styles and techniques.

What are the benefits of meditation?

Meditation can be useful for so many different things.

Mental challenges such as:

• Anxiety

• Depression 

• PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)

• Stress- which can then lead onto physical challenges if untreated

• Insomnia

Physical challenges such as:

• Irritable Bowel Syndrome and other digestive issues

• Fibromyalgia 

• High Blood Pressure

• Pain 

• Stress and anxiety-related physical symptoms such as headaches, muscle tension, and fatigue.
